treadmill

i hate that word... but as i was using it today, i noticed myself actually enjoying my sweaty unglamorous exercise time. maybe someday i will even understand you crazy people who enjoy working out!

this treadmill was dad and mom's xmas present to eachother... it's still new and shiny, and has a sticker on it that says: Quiet! Responsive! Powerful! i think that this should also be a description of my ideal man. heh.

just kidding. it made me giggle though.

There is something really satisfyting to know that I can run 3.7 miles per hour (sometimes faster if I was in the mood). I miss the treadmills at the student gym at ETSU. They were large and sturdy and they had cupholders. The only thing I didn't like way that they were in public and I could sing along with Jack Johnson when I ran.

Satisfyting...contentment with angst. Great word, O Charlie; ty. :)

Treadmills in the house are cool. I never liked running down the street cuz I always felt like everyone was staring. Then again, I won't use the treadmill in my parents' house b/c I don't want everyone to think "Whitney's exercising right now!!" ...yeah. I have issues. Glad you like your manly machine that lets you run all over him, Stef.
